This product is a fixture that remembers its shape by removing air. The inner material contains air beads with a diameter of 1 millimeter. When the air inside the fixture is removed using the included round pump, the air beads adhere strongly to each other, eliminating fluidity and solidifying. It can be fixed according to the condition and shape of the body being used. The unique fabric, made by bonding polyester fabric and urethane sheets, retains the memorized shape for a long time. When air is returned to the fixture, the fluidity of the air beads returns, and the fixture becomes soft. This product can be reused multiple times. Additionally, since it solidifies when air is removed, it does not constrict the body during fixation. There are four sizes available, and with the largest size, PL2, it is also possible to move from a "wheelchair" to a "car seat" along with the shape-memory fixture.

In the case of forearm fixation, there are reports that the time until fixation is completed has been reduced to less than one-third compared to fixation mats. The bead cushion "E-Cole Basic" features air beads in the filling that move within the cushion to conform to the user's body shape, demonstrating good pressure distribution for the buttocks. It has also been reported that the load on the backrest of wheelchairs and similar devices is relatively small, contributing to stable posture.
