ADS-BT for VECTORWORKS is a plugin system for Vectorworks that enables volume studies and shadow calculations using hatching and reverse shadowing, as well as sky ratio calculations. It incorporates the calculation engine of ADS-win, which has been evaluated as a high-precision and high-performance height restriction analysis system, allowing for simulations directly within Vectorworks. As a plugin system that does not rely on data integration, it provides a simulation system that does not hinder creative thinking, strongly supporting planning and design.

■ Conditional Editing - Setting of site editing, boundary line conditions, roads and intersections, orientation, latitude and longitude, and sunlight conditions - Zoning, height districts, ground surface elevation, and shadow regulations can be divided into multiple segments ■ Shadow and Reverse Shadow Calculation Mesh calculations based on combinations of shadow lines and reverse shadows (low-rise and high-rise), with parts exceeding shadow restrictions displayed in red during building height checks ■ Sunlight Calculation Time and equal time shadow calculations, regulation line checks, sunlight rules, magnification tables, and specific shadow point tables can be output to Vectorworks *Wall shadow calculation function is not included ■ Sky Ratio Calculation - Automatic generation of each building and measurement point (some parameter settings available), supports batch calculations (shadow restriction units) - Sky ratio summary table, area calculation diagrams and area calculation tables for each building, and confirmation of orthographic projection positions for each building can be output to Vectorworks - Automatic sky ratio setting function (selectable from simplified settings: JCBA method/Tokyo method) - Arbitrary editing of measurement lines is possible (arbitrary editing of compliant buildings is not allowed)
