To bring air into indoor spaces, there are costs involved. Ionair uses air purification technology that decomposes and neutralizes substances (viruses, VOCs, PM, odors) floating in indoor spaces, providing a human-friendly environment while significantly reducing the air conditioning costs for medium to large-scale spaces through energy savings. This process enables the conversion of air that was previously exhausted into reusable air, achieving "reutilization of exhaust air (heat recovery)" and allowing air conditioning to be maintained at low airflow, resulting in energy savings that can account for 30-40% of annual electricity usage for air conditioning. In Japan, a lot of electricity is consumed to make the humid, hot summer air and the dry, cold winter air comfortable. However, most of this air is exhausted outside after being used once. By utilizing Ionair, energy savings can be achieved through air analysis by sensors and optimal air purification based on the measured data using AI. This technology balances the maintenance of comfortable air with significant reductions in air conditioning costs, making it highly effective for large spaces where many people gather. It generates the optimal ions based on the measurement data from the installed sensor. This is an example of the AQS system configuration. By installing four types of sensors in the air conditioning ducts, air measurements are conducted. Based on that data, an appropriate ion concentration is generated. Additionally, the measurement data used during generation can be linked with the building management system.

This is an image of ion generation. By applying a constant high voltage to the generation tube, oxygen ions are produced from the air. Oxygen ions have properties similar to ozone, including odor removal and the ability to decompose chemical substances, but a characteristic of oxygen ions is that they have no impact on the human body.
