The UP valve (YUPI valve) is a PP resin valve that excels in chemical resistance and cost performance.
The UP valve is made of resin with PP as the main raw material, featuring high pressure resistance, chemical resistance, and excellent cost performance. The base material, PP, is relatively inexpensive and lightweight among plastics, with a good balance of rigidity and impact resistance, as well as excellent pressure and chemical resistance. By combining this PP with ethylene propylene used in the packing area, we achieved excellent pressure resistance performance of 0.78 MPa for a PP valve. This product is suitable as a replacement for metal and fluoropolymer valves used under the above pressure conditions, and it contributes to the stable operation of equipment, devices, and systems in lines using Ushio Lighting's plastic fittings (Z unions) and piping (UP tubes).
