[Aizu University Joint Research] Creating a 3D flexible model to achieve simulations close to reality!
Our company is conducting technical research and investigation to model three-dimensional flexible objects using the physics engine 'AGX Dynamics' on the simulator 'Choreonoid', enabling multi-body simulations with rigid body models. In the fiscal year 2019, we created this three-dimensional flexible object model, and we have achieved research results that improve gripping force by using gel grippers (finger cots) on robotic hands. To reproduce similar simulations on Choreonoid, we reconstructed the three-dimensional flexible object model in the shape of a gel gripper and successfully implemented it.
