■＜Theater Zzz (Shiatā Zii) Tokyo, Sumida Ward＞ This is a new concept accommodation that combines three elements: tea, movies, and travel, all in one space. Tents are set up in a theater-shaped area with a screen, allowing accommodation for up to 18 people. There is also a café area where even non-staying guests can enjoy carefully selected organic teas and light snacks. While it has the atmosphere of outdoor camping, it is very stylish, and it realizes a unique concept where all guests can enjoy the same movie together at a high level, creating a truly otherworldly space.

■<Request Details> Selection and installation of a large screen compatible with 4K high definition, surround sound equipment, and a full set of equipment suitable for events in the theater area, as well as the selection and installation of background music equipment in the adjacent café area. ■<Key Points of Equipment Selection and Installation for This Project> Building a full-fledged theater while considering aesthetics and safety was quite challenging. Due to the tiered floor and safety concerns regarding ceiling height, a short-throw projector was essential. Additionally, we wanted high brightness and 4K capability, so we chose a Ben-Q model. Although the screen could originally only accommodate up to 120 inches, we achieved 145 inches through manufacturer cooperation and installation ingenuity. For powerful surround sound, we adopted an Integra AV amplifier. Due to the skeleton ceiling, we could not use in-ceiling speakers, so we selected exposed speakers that excel in sound balance, even in a compact size. To blend seamlessly with the interior, we used a combination of white and black, and further minimized their presence with unique installation techniques. In the café area, we used speakers designed for commercial facilities along with our amplifiers, tuning the background music so that it does not interfere with customer conversations.
