The exhibited products include the Windows model "TW2A-NF9LTA" and the Android model "TA2C-NF8," both equipped with NFC reader/writer capabilities for use in medical institutions and pharmacies. By combining both models with Magconn's charging system, which allows for stable charging with a one-touch magnetic attachment, we propose not only improvements in operational efficiency—such as verifying qualification information stored in My Number cards and managing attendance at clinics using employee ID cards—but also the creation of new business opportunities utilizing NFC solutions.

ODS Corporation will begin selling large touch terminals this winter, combining industrial touch panel displays with STBs (set-top boxes) equipped with Android OS or Windows OS, based on the experience gained from the development, sales, and support of commercial tablets and PCs. Amid the worsening labor shortage and the promotion of digital transformation (DX), the demand for large touch terminals is expanding across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, logistics, and retail. This system supports the digitalization of various business scenes by combining high-durability touch panel displays of various sizes with Android or Windows-compatible STBs. In the future, it will provide a one-stop solution for hardware-related selection and procurement tasks, including customization support, selection of peripheral devices, and even the production of dedicated enclosures. This will create an environment where IT vendors engaged in system development can focus on software development, contributing to early adoption. The adoption of this system will enable system integrators (SIers) and other partners to make more specific and effective proposals based on customer needs and usage scenarios.

The "TA2C-NF8" and "TA2C-NF8BL" can read various IC cards without the need for an external card reader and are compatible with FeliCa M class. This update introduces new features designed for a wider range of business scenarios, further enhancing convenience. Additional features that expand the usage of this device for various tasks utilizing IC cards, such as reading My Number cards like the My Number health insurance card, order terminal applications using in-house IC tags, and attendance management using employee ID cards, will be made available starting in July.
