The 'S-CART-V' equipped with an image analysis system developed by Canon. It analyzes images captured by a dual-camera system and extracts feature points. By comparing with map information, it estimates its own position in real-time. It can flexibly adapt to environments where automatic operation is challenging, such as areas with moving people and fluctuating obstacles. *1 The image analysis system "Vision based Navigation System for AGV" developed by Canon includes Visual SLAM technology that simultaneously estimates the 3D information of the surrounding environment and its position and orientation from images captured using stereo cameras, while also creating environmental maps.
