This is a very convenient joint for parts that must be removed regularly (or often).

The "Suppon Joint" is a flexible and expandable joint that does not disengage once pipes are connected. Traditionally, for the joining of pipes in water supply, industrial water, and agricultural water systems, methods have been employed to make the entire piping system act as a single rigid body to ensure water tightness and prevent disconnection at the joint. As a result, enormous concentrated loads have been applied to the joint area, leading to damage of the joint or pipes, which can cause leaks and other accidents, often resulting in decreased yield rates and social issues, requiring significant effort and costs for maintenance.
