Our company conducts daily research on flame-retardant, fire-resistant, and non-combustible treatments for solid wood, primarily focusing on bamboo materials. The fire resistance standards set by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism specify that the total heat release must be below 8 MJ/m² in a 5-minute combustion test. However, our test results for the Yokotake Board with bamboo veneer show a value of 1.8 MJ/m².
