Evaluation from two perspectives: micro assessment of surface roughness and macro assessment of surface profile!
This document is a technical report that describes the evaluation of surface roughness and surface profiles of different samples made by hand lay-up, which have three surfaces: the release surface, hand-finished surface, and molded surface. In conclusion, the surface roughness values for Ra, Rz, and Pt improved by approximately 77 to 85% compared to the release surface.
