It seems that a work is not created, but rather brought into existence.
"Kimitatsu Kumiki" is a toy inspired by the traditional Japanese woodworking technique known as "Kumiki." The methods of "mortise and tenon joints, half-lap joints, and assembly joints" have been transformed into three actions: "inserting, hooking, and combining," allowing users to not only play but also experience traditional craftsmanship. The material used is only Hinoki cypress from Hyogo Prefecture. With the intention of encouraging safe interaction with wood, the corners are rounded for safety. This product comes in a lineup of 300-piece and 500-piece sets, both packaged in wooden boxes. The wooden box features a framework for organizing the pieces, which helps children learn counting while also reducing the burden on teachers in childcare settings. 【Features】 ■ Create various works based on traditional Japanese woodworking techniques ■ Made exclusively from unpainted Hinoki cypress from Hyogo Prefecture ■ ST Mark certification *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
