basic information
○The total length of roads in Japan has reached 1.28 million km, and the sewer pipeline network has reached 470,000 km, with rapid aging occurring. All structures are required to undergo regular inspections, and according to the results, nearly 60% of bridges and over 90% of tunnels have been assessed as "damaged." ○From the perspective of preventive maintenance, it is expected that a large number of construction projects, including renewals, will be ordered for these structures in the future. ○However, due to the declining birthrate and aging population, it is anticipated that securing budgets will become difficult, making the longevity of structures the most important issue for all engineers. ○I hope this course can contribute to the improvement of technical skills for engineers engaged in the design of concrete structures.

We believe that our mission at DTF is to contribute to the transfer of construction execution technology, which has been accumulated over a long period, along with the knowledge necessary to adapt to new systems (comprehensive evaluation bidding system), to the next generation of engineers, thereby supporting the development of our customers' businesses. Additionally, we will always strive to discern the "essence" of construction execution technology, "materialize" it, and "provide" it, while working on the planning and development of innovative products that support our customers.
