We would like to introduce the tomato decay prevention experiment conducted by Daiichi Seidenki Co., Ltd. Tomatoes were placed in a sealed space at room temperature of 26-27°C and a temperature of 68-70°C, and were exposed to chlorine dioxide gas for 10 minutes every 12 hours for comparison. After 84 hours of gas exposure, mold approximately 1mm in diameter appeared in 5 or 6 locations, while in the absence of exposure, the entire tomato decayed.
