We would like to introduce a case study of the modification of "refrigerated and frozen containers for marine use" undertaken by Foods Tech Co., Ltd. The raw materials delivered were temporarily stored in a frozen state until use, but since the container had doors on only one side, it was necessary to repeatedly load and unload the pallets inside. As a solution, the freezer unit was relocated to the ceiling, and a door was added to the side with the freezer unit, enabling a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system with both doors. This ensures that materials are used in the order they were received, allowing for the use of older raw materials and significantly reducing labor.
