Measures to prevent the spread of infection within the company are now possible! We support BCP with initial response measures against viral infections.
An article was published in the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun regarding precautions for using thermal cameras in measures against the new coronavirus infection. 2020/7/21 UP https://www.nikkan.co.jp/articles/view/00552711 This is aimed at companies that are concerned about the spread of new infectious diseases, including COVID-19. The "MOBOTIX Network Thermal Camera" can be installed at reception areas to detect individuals, both employees and visitors, with abnormally high surface temperatures. By notifying the administrator's PC, it helps reduce the risk of infection from external sources. *Note: Like other non-contact temperature measurement devices, it measures surface temperature and serves as an auxiliary role for body temperature measurement. For accurate body temperature measurement, please use a contact-type thermometer. The correlation between surface temperature and body temperature varies depending on the installation environment and the individual. While it is difficult to detect 100% of infected individuals, we believe that reducing risk is necessary from a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) perspective. Konica Minolta Japan Co., Ltd.
