The "FR/FRS/CR series" is a material that incorporates magnetic powder with high magnetic loss into chloroprene rubber at a high volume ratio. It is effective for preventing resonance inside the housing of microwave and millimeter-wave circuit modules and for preventing unwanted radiation outside the housing. (It is also used for preventing unwanted radiation from microstrip lines and for adjusting transmission characteristics.) It is effective when installed at points where the magnetic field concentrates on the inner surface of the metal housing of the circuit module.
