Since its establishment in 1961, Tohoku Chemical has processed oil obtained from the "cashew" plant into resin particles used in brake friction materials (brake linings, brake pads), contributing to the safety and security of automobiles and other vehicles. During this time, we have continuously conducted research and developed our own technology, earning a high reputation as a top manufacturer of cashew particles for brakes that excel in safety, heat resistance, and wear resistance. Recently, we have also been expanding our business by utilizing the organic chemistry, materials, and powder technology that we have accumulated over many years as core technologies to develop products such as wave absorbers used in anechoic chambers, which contribute to ensuring "safety and the environment."
