White flower prevention cement "Tsuge Cement"

The efflorescence phenomenon occurs immediately after construction and can also develop over the long term, significantly damaging the design in both cases. While there are additives available on the market that can somewhat suppress efflorescence, "Tsuge Cement" is the only cement that prevents this phenomenon. (Co-developed with Professor Kenji Watanabe, a first-class architect from Chubu University) The principles of "Tsuge Cement" are as follows: 1. Blocking the calcium migration pathway by mixing in crack reinforcement materials. 2. Reducing the total amount of calcium by decreasing the usage of ordinary Portland cement. 3. Incorporating calcium capture materials that are not affected by the setting or strength of the concrete. These actions create independent voids, reducing and dispersing fine cracks, thereby preventing water intrusion. The amount of calcium used is lower than that of conventional products, and even if calcium were to leak out, the capture materials prevent the substances that cause efflorescence from surfacing. Additionally, because it is composed of inorganic materials and contains reinforcement materials, it is resistant to acids and exhibits minimal shrinkage changes, similar to non-shrink cement.
