In 2003, we developed the dry external insulation method known as the "LLH External Insulation Ventilated Layer System." The external insulation method improves the thermal environment inside the building while protecting the building structure from sunlight, outside temperatures, and wind and rain, thereby extending the lifespan of the building. There are two types of external insulation methods: the dry method, which physically secures insulation materials with metal anchor bolts and LLH support hardware, and the wet method, which secures insulation materials with adhesives such as acrylic resin-based mortar. The dry method allows for the installation of support hardware and battens on top of the insulation materials, enabling the selection of various exterior materials such as dry tiles, aluminum panels, spandrels, Galvalume steel sheets, wooden boards, and stone.
