We would like to introduce a case study on the management of the liquid level of a defoaming agent in a water-soluble waste liquid treatment system using the non-contact liquid level sensor "CLA," which can be installed on various tanks due to its electrodes being made for PET film. (Detection target: defoaming agent) The printing peripheral equipment manufacturer was concerned about sensor degradation with contact-type sensors, as the timing of failures was unpredictable and maintenance could become frequent. They faced the challenge of needing a sensor that could be easily installed on tanks, which would facilitate mass production and make future maintenance easier. As a solution, the non-contact "CLA" was adopted. As a result, it can be easily attached from the outside of the tank, ensuring mass production capability, and during maintenance, it can simply be replaced from the outside of the tank, making maintenance straightforward. 【Current Challenges and Requests】 ■ With contact-type sensors, degradation is a concern, and the timing of failures is unpredictable, leading to potential frequent maintenance. ■ A sensor that can be easily installed on tanks is preferred, as it facilitates mass production and makes future maintenance easier. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
