The contact part with the sample consists only of the container and the rotor. Measurements are taken without contact with the main body of the equipment. While offering high precision, it is available at an affordable price range, providing many advantages.
1. The EMS method allows for non-contact measurement between the device and the sample (measurement cell). Therefore, the measurement is very simple, requiring only the placement of the cell on the device. The measurement cell is sealable and disposable, making it safe for measuring volatile samples and medical waste. 2. There is no need for cleaning after each measurement. Therefore, at the end of the day, the measurement cells can be cleaned all at once, significantly improving measurement efficiency (the time required for cleaning and drying the measurement fixtures is about 5 minutes per session). 3. It is one of the smallest in the world (the measurement area is 10cm x 10cm x 10cm), allowing for direct installation in simple temperature-controlled cabinets or constant temperature baths. This enables easy and stable viscosity analysis. 4. The amount of sample required for measurement is only 0.5cc. 5. There is a wide variety of rotors available, allowing for high-precision measurements across low to high viscosity ranges. 6. The only moving part is the motor, which means it does not break down. There is no longer a need for repairs on expensive fixtures like spindles. 7. Since the measurement cell is non-contact with the device, it offers high scalability.
