In the problem setup, we varied the equivalence ratio Φ, preheat temperature Tin, and residence time τ to explore the operating points where the concentrations of NO, CO, and CH4 are minimized. Generally, the concentrations of NO and the combustion efficiency-related CO and CH4 are in a trade-off relationship, and due to strong nonlinearity, comprehensive judgment is required to select the optimal solution.
