★I love iron Black steel angle materials, flat bars, and expanded metal. These are the types of iron that make up this rack. Even though we generally refer to it as "iron," depending on its use, it can be thinly stretched, bent, or drilled, and in the field, it circulates in a semi-finished state. This rack is made by combining these semi-finished iron materials without excessive processing, keeping them as close to their original state as possible. ★The details are ruggedly crafted. Utilizing the characteristics of the material, the frame retains the iron's unique black skin. The connection points of the angle materials, created by being extruded into an L-shape, and the flat bars intentionally show the traces of welding. The surface material that directly touches the placed items is made of a material called expanded metal, which has diamond-shaped holes and is translucent. This not only reduces weight but also creates a visual lightness through its transparency. In any case, finishing it just right without overdoing it requires a sense of balance and technique, and this is realized by Mr. Ota from Babe Ruth Ironworks, a metal craftsman. Each piece is handmade, so we can accommodate custom width orders. ★Place items roughly Since the material is rugged, please handle it boldly. The standard product is left unpainted to maintain the natural appearance of the iron. If not painted, there is a possibility of rusting, so if you are concerned, please choose the optional coating. While painting does not completely prevent rust, it can significantly slow its progression. Additionally, the expanded metal, which is made from cut iron sheets, has some sharp edges when touched. While it is unlikely to cut your hand, please use it in places where children cannot reach. As the material is inherently rugged, please place items on it in a rough manner. For example, you can install it high near the ceiling and roughly place tools that you don’t use often, or carelessly put shoes that tend to be left out.
