An etched (corroded) nameplate is a nameplate created by chemically etching (corroding) the surface of metal to create unevenness, filling the recessed areas with melamine resin paint, and then finishing it with processes such as clear coating, cutting, or die-cutting. An anodized nameplate is made by using the sulfuric anodizing method on aluminum sheets to form a porous anodized film, allowing dye to be absorbed (since the dye carries a negative charge, it is attracted to the pores of the film that have a positive charge), and finally, a sealing treatment is applied to complete the nameplate.
