General method of making nameplates: "Engraving"
Materials are engraved with a drill (cutter) or laser, and paint is filled in. This is the basic method for creating nameplates. □ Mechanical Engraving Characters are engraved using a rotating drill (cutter). Since the drill (cutter) rotates to carve the characters, it is limited to rounded Gothic type where the ends of the characters and lines are rounded. You can choose between surface engraving or reverse engraving (transparent spray-painted acrylic). This is the most cost-effective method, and mechanical engraving is generally used for producing nameplates. □ Laser Engraving Characters and shapes are engraved using a laser machine. Since engraving is done with laser irradiation without a cutter, you can choose any font you like. We use this as an option for mechanical engraving (surface engraving only).
