The water-expandable sponge attached to the water stop section of the water-tight rubber enhances the water stop effect due to the lateral restraint force at both ends of the attachment groove. 【Applicable Conditions】 ■ Applicable for pipe diameters from φ800mm to φ3,000mm. Note: Equipment can be transported in and out from a manhole with a diameter of φ600mm. ■ Joint spacing of 90mm or less, withstands internal water pressure of 1.5Mpa, and external water pressure of 0.2Mpa (when additional fixed rings are adopted). ■ Step difference of pipe joints is 40mm or less, and difference in internal pipe diameter is 20mm or less. ■ Pipe slope is normally constructed at less than 5 degrees; for slopes greater than this, additional safety measures will be implemented during construction. ■ Applicable pipe types include PC pipes, FRPM pipes, concrete pipes, ductile pipes, steel pipes, polyethylene pipes, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
