Constructed with a total of 6,973 pieces! Creating a new design for wooden architecture!
We would like to introduce the "Shizuoka Prefecture Mount Fuji World Heritage Center," a cultural facility that we have developed. Our facility, which has five floors above ground, is designed with a focus on the concept of "aijakuri," combining elements in a way that resembles weaving with a single material at the intersection points. The lattice structure, both inside and outside, is constructed from a total of 6,973 pieces, each crafted from materials with varying curvature, twist, and length. [Features] ■ There are 7,261 intersection points, each with a different shape. ■ Based on the concept of aijakuri, the elements are combined. ■ The design resembles weaving with a single material. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
