● Design that mimics the sensation of human touch on objects The heating plate that comes into contact with the sample is designed to mimic the sensation of human touch by considering factors such as load and contact area, allowing for a more realistic measurement of maximum heat transfer. ● Measurement of thermal conductivity / insulation properties (optional) is also possible Thermal conductivity: By measuring steady-state thermal conductivity, we assess the ease of heat transfer from a heating plate at a constant temperature (30°C) through the sample to another heating plate maintained at a constant temperature (20°C). Insulation properties (optional): A sample is placed on a heating plate set to a constant temperature (room temperature + 10°C), exposed to air, and subjected to a constant airflow directed at the sample surface. The amount of heat lost through the sample is calculated, and the insulation rate (%) is determined. Measurement methods include the dry method, assuming direct contact between skin and clothing in a dry state, and the wet method, assuming contact when sweating.
