"EPS" is a molded product made from expanded polystyrene. The surface is coated with waterproof urethane, and there are soft types with a stretch ratio that follows the hardness of sponge, as well as ultra-hard types that rival the hardness of FRP. (In some shapes, ultra-high hardness may not be possible.) Due to the nature of the waterproof urethane, the finish of the coating material has a texture similar to that of a citrus peel.
