This SAN allows for direct connection between clients and storage, enabling efficient processing of tasks that require multiple machines to work on a single dataset, such as video editing. The SAN configuration provides a faster storage environment compared to NAS. Additionally, a SAN starter pack that includes a file sharing controller for configuring the SAN is also available. It can accommodate 12 disks for high capacity, and by setting the RAID level to RAID 5 or RAID 6, you can achieve redundancy in the disk configuration.
