Adoption of an independent power source using solar power not reliant on commercial electricity. In addition to a luminous water level indicator, it alerts to danger with an emergency email function, rotating light, and siren function.
Due to the recent heavy rains caused by global warming, there is an urgent need for responses not only in terms of hardware but also in terms of software. Our company developed an electronic water level indicator three years ago at the request of the government. Additionally, by utilizing solar power that does not rely on commercial electricity, we are able to address areas with low populations, such as mountainous regions, and by equipping it with new features like emergency emails, we have made it possible to issue evacuation advisories more quickly. Furthermore, the use of rotating lights and sirens has enabled evacuation from the perspective of residents. This system has been installed in the Hanagatsukawa area of the Chikugo River Office of the Kyushu Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, which was affected by the heavy rains in northern Kyushu last year.
