The LRB is a laminated rubber bearing that incorporates lead plugs embedded in a laminated rubber body made by alternately stacking rubber and steel plates and vulcanizing them together. It has a high energy absorption capacity, and by changing the diameter of the lead plugs, the horizontal spring constant and damping performance can be widely adjusted. Compared to pure rubber, it has higher stiffness in the vertical direction, stabilizing and supporting structures.
