Originally, the goal was to systematize the company's operations in order to optimize the entire process as much as possible, creating a single seamless system for the entire company. However, the more we pursued this approach, the more we ended up with systems that seemed good and efficient at first glance, but from the users' perspective, there was a disconnect between the concept of overall optimization and individual tasks. The better the system, the more it sometimes led to the notion that "it's the user's fault if they can't use it." At that moment, I realized that since the system is used by "individuals," the more we tried to create a system where overall optimization equated to a single company-wide system, the more we drifted away from the individual user's perspective. Therefore, instead of focusing on the entire company's operations, we shifted our focus to the individual users. There is no such thing as a "business person"; it is the "individual" who performs the operations. So, we aimed to create tools that the individuals carrying out the tasks could actually use.

In small and medium-sized enterprises, a multi-skilled way of working, where one person handles multiple roles, is the norm. Work tends to concentrate on a single individual, which often makes it difficult to take vacations and leads to increased overtime and weekend work.
