The "S&DL Stretch Meter Jr Lite" is a digital surface extensometer that can monitor ground surface displacement with high precision over a long period of time by stretching a wire on slopes and rock formations where there is a risk of landslides. The sensor and data logger are integrated, minimizing the influence of external noise and achieving highly reliable measurements. Additionally, it does not require observation boxes or similar setups needed for traditional extensometers, significantly reducing installation costs.
