This is a stainless steel chain from Daido Kogyo that boasts exceptional corrosion resistance and heat resistance, suitable for any location.
There are two types of stainless steel chains: SS specification and SSK specification. The SS specification is the chain with the best corrosion resistance and heat resistance. However, since all the components are made of austenitic stainless steel, its tensile strength is slightly less than 70% of that of standard roller chains, and the maximum allowable tension is reduced by just over 10%. The SSK specification is a chain that improves the maximum allowable tension to 1.5 times that of the SS specification by changing the pins, bushes, and rollers to hardened stainless steel. It should be used when there is insufficient strength with the SS specification or when a longer lifespan is desired. ■ Examples of suitable applications: - Areas constantly exposed to chemical agents, seawater, or sewage Various chemical plants, water treatment facilities - High-temperature areas Heat treatment furnaces, drying ovens, incinerators
