This is a steel chain that approaches the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
The double guard chain is a chain that has a two-layer surface coating applied to a standard roller chain, achieving high corrosion resistance. Compared to the high guard chain, it has approximately twice the corrosion resistance in salt spray tests and can be used in weak alkaline and weak acidic environments. ■Features By improving corrosion resistance, it can now be used in environments where conventional high guard or rustless chains cannot be used, and it is partially usable in environments where only stainless steel can be used. The coating is non-chrome, taking environmental considerations into account. It does not contain hexavalent chromium due to hazardous substance regulations (EU RoHS directive). ■Examples of Use - Areas requiring both corrosion resistance and strength Moving decks, cleaning lines, etc. - Areas exposed to rain or seawater Outdoor equipment, amusement machines, etc. - Areas exposed to chemical agents (weak alkaline, weak acidic), seawater, or wastewater, various chemical plants, water treatment facilities.
