"Rock Rack®" is a non-explosive breaking agent developed to efficiently crush targets near security properties, using the expansion pressure from a thermite reaction to break rock formations and concrete structures. It consists of a cartridge containing the breaking agent and two types of igniters (instantaneous and sequential). The instantaneous igniter uses a detonator, while the sequential igniter uses a dedicated ignition device. 【Features】 ■ As it is non-explosive, it is not subject to the Explosives Control Law, making handling related to storage and consumption permits simpler. ■ It can perform low-vibration breaking compared to explosives, as it breaks rock and concrete using expansion pressure. ■ By using a sequential igniter with appropriate time intervals, the impact on the surroundings can be minimized. ■ The use of electronically controlled sequential igniters improves breaking effectiveness in tunnels and deep foundations. ■ Although it is not subject to the Explosives Control Law, the work procedures are similar to those of blasting methods. *For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data available for download.
