The Fine Power Wedge Method (hereinafter referred to as the Wedge Method) involves attaching a wedge (a metal wedge) consisting of a set of three tapered pieces—one in the center and two on the sides—at the tip of a backhoe arm (0.45m³ or 0.7m³). This wedge is inserted into a rock splitting hole of the target object, and by utilizing the hydraulic pressure of the backhoe to expand the wedge sideways, it crushes the target object from the inside. Additionally, by using a dedicated controller, the entire process from insertion of the wedge to fragmentation can be performed by one person from within the backhoe cabin.
