The "Loop Fence" is a vertical rockfall protection fence primarily installed along roads to prevent rockfall damage. It can withstand rockfall energy of up to 1506 kJ, making it effective for relatively large-scale rockfall countermeasures. By wrapping wire ropes in a loop between the posts, it reduces the deformation during rockfall capture.
