Model 204 enables accurate pressure measurement of gases or liquids suitable for 17-4 PH stainless steel. Model 204 is meticulously compensated for zero shift and sensitivity shift due to changes in ambient temperature, making it ideal for many applications requiring high precision. Setra's variable capacitance sensor (patented) features a simple design. The central part of the integrated stainless steel pressure port has a diaphragm structure, and an insulated electrode plate is fixed at the center of this diaphragm, creating variable capacitance. As pressure increases, the capacitance decreases. This capacitance is detected and converted into a linear DC voltage signal using Setra's unique electronic circuit. In the absolute pressure type, the reference side of the diaphragm is sealed with electron beam welding in a high vacuum.
