Setra's Model 231 is a pressure sensor for differential pressure measurement in liquid/liquid applications. It can measure four types of unidirectional differential pressure and four types of bidirectional differential pressure with a single unit.
The Setra Model 231 series is a pressure sensor for differential pressure measurement in liquid/liquid applications. It can measure four types of unidirectional differential pressure and four types of bidirectional differential pressure with a single unit. The Model 231 offers three selectable pressure ranges: 35 kPa to 350 kPa, 68 kPa to 680 kPa, and 170 kPa to 1700 kPa. Within these three pressure ranges, users can switch between four types of unidirectional differential pressure and four types of bidirectional differential pressure for pressure measurement. Additionally, the output signal can be configured in the field by selecting from 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, or 4-20 mA signals using a switch. When the pressure sensor is correctly installed and used, the range selection feature of the Model 231 allows for changes to different ranges without the need for expensive recalibration. An optional LCD display shows line pressure and differential pressure on-site.

This technology achieves excellent temperature characteristics and linearity, reducing long-term drift caused by pressure cycling. A three-valve manifold is also available, which facilitates maintenance and initial use.
