Introduction to Basic Knowledge of Wet Blasting for Engineers
"Wet blast processing" refers to the surface treatment performed by spraying a mixed liquid of water and abrasives (such as alumina and zirconia) using compressed air. When the high-speed ejected mixed liquid strikes the workpiece, the abrasives work to grind the object. This allows for the removal of dirt, paint, rust, and other contaminants adhered to the surface of the workpiece. Wet blast processing features lower grinding power compared to dry shot blasting, making it less likely to damage the base material of the workpiece itself.
