We received a request from a resin factory to reduce maintenance costs caused by impurities entering the heat exchanger from the cooling water used during cutting. 【Case Study】 ■Industry: Resin Factory ■Challenges - The large amount of cooling water used to cool the water during cutting contains impurities (resin scraps) that enter the heat exchanger. - Maintenance costs for the heat exchanger are high, and we want to reduce them. We proposed dewatering to remove impurities from the cooling water. By using the cleaned cooling water in the heat exchanger, we reduced the maintenance frequency from four times a year to once a year. [Pleated Dryer Dewatering Drying Device] This device suctions and filters high-concentration slurry (mud-like mixture) to form a cake layer on the filter surface. The formed cake layer is dewatered and dried, allowing it to be collected as sludge (aggregated solid). Our unique pleated filter enables the extraction of large volumes of dry cake.
