  (Performance Introduction) "New Construction of a Paid Nursing Home in Ie Island" Our lightweight resin formwork (DUO) and aluminum slab formwork (GRIDFLEX) were used in the construction of a nursing home on Ie Island, Okinawa Prefecture.

  RC 1-story building Building area: 1,364 square meters Total floor area: 1,359 square meters Formwork construction area: Foundation part approximately 1,500 square meters, above ground floor: approximately 3,500 square meters (total: approximately 5,000 square meters)

  The needs on site were mainly identified as the following three points: reduction in the number of components, reduction in the number of workers, and a higher work efficiency. To address these issues, Perry Japan proposed a lightweight resin formwork system (DUO) and an aluminum slab formwork (GRIDFLEX), which were newly introduced to the Japanese market in 2019. These solutions contributed to reducing the number of components, shortening work time, and increasing labor efficiency.

  Customer comment: "The number of formwork components per square meter has been halved, simplifying construction, improving work efficiency, and leading to a reduction in construction time. The amount of wood used has decreased compared to traditional methods, achieving resource conservation. The volume of materials transported to the site has decreased, reducing transportation costs. Additionally, since there is no need for tasks such as compacting steel and nailing as in traditional methods, noise has been reduced."
