This is a caster made of ductile cast iron (FCD). The bearings use either bronze or nylon bushings, which do not rust.
This caster is made from durable ductile cast iron (FCD450). Its wear resistance is six times that of steel, achieving high durability along with excellent corrosion resistance. The axle and cotter pin are made of stainless steel. Unlike conventional bearing wheels, there is no worry about rusting of the bearings due to saltwater damage. The bearing bronze bushing wheels come with a nipple for improved maintenance. The bearing MC nylon wheels have excellent lubrication properties and do not require greasing.
