Our core business is the manufacturing and sales of Kyoto umbrellas and lanterns, established in the late Edo period. Since 2007, we have been developing and selling Japanese-style lighting that utilizes the structure of traditional umbrellas. We specialize in custom Japanese-style lighting and have numerous production achievements that leverage techniques for processing washi paper and bamboo. Recently, we have initiated a project titled "Japan Design Lighting and Interior," which involves custom coordination of Japanese design architectural materials. This project aims to utilize traditional crafts as new materials for Japanese design, in response to the growing expectations for designs based on Japan's cultural background and aesthetics. Specifically, we consult on projects and propose custom materials using our "traditional crafts" scheme. In this way, our company pursues the authentic form of Japan that can be incorporated into modern times, based on the philosophy that "tradition is a continuous innovation."
