It is a sand removal device with a small installation area that allows for easy removal of sand.
The "Cyclone Sand Removal Device RS Type" is a sand removal device that can easily eliminate fine sand mixed in the pumping of groundwater or river water. Compared to a typical sand removal device such as a sedimentation tank, the "Cyclone Sand Removal Device RS Type" offers: ● A significantly smaller installation area. ● Lower capital investment costs. ● Shorter retention time for treated water, resulting in smaller temperature variations. ● A shorter time for sedimentation (sand removal). The separated sand particles are discharged externally by opening a manual valve. We offer various models tailored to customer specifications. As options, we provide: Stainless steel specifications (rust-resistant) Automatic sand discharge specifications (with control panel, reducing the effort required for sand discharge). *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

basic information
■Principle and Operation - Water flows in a swirling manner from the lower side of the upper part of the cylindrical body, causing sand particles pressed against the wall by centrifugal force to spiral down along the inner wall of the conical lower section. - The de-sanded water rises through the cylindrical section in a swirling motion and is supplied as treated water. - The sand that has settled can be removed simply by opening the valve at the bottom, eliminating the need for consumables like filters. ■The structure is simple and does not cause malfunctions, allowing for long-term use. (Excluding some consumables.) ■The sand particle separation function uses centrifugal separation, which may cause wear on the inner wall due to friction with sand particles, potentially leading to pinholes. (The conical connector is not included in the lifespan of consumable parts.) ■Due to the possibility of pinhole formation mentioned above, please do not install in areas where water leakage is prohibited. ■The maximum operating pressure for this pure water device is 0.3 MPa. ■When in use, please keep the outlet side open (the raw water valve is on the inlet side). *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Applications/Examples of results
【Applications】 - Separation and removal of sand in well water - Separation and removal of sediment mixed in river surface water - Pretreatment for soft water systems - Pretreatment for iron and manganese removal systems and filtration systems - Removal, recovery, and beneficiation of fine coal in hydraulic coal mining circulation water in mines and coal pits Using raw water that contains even trace amounts of sand particles can lead to various issues if it accumulates in the water supply system, valves, fittings, and instruments or equipment. If any of the above concerns are anticipated, please consider this. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
