The "Metal Star BK" series is a super high-brightness metallic paint for metals. (Metallic paint) This product is primarily designed for automotive aluminum wheels. It has even higher brightness and exterior coating performance compared to the Metal Star series for plastics. It possesses the highest brightness among our super high-brightness paint series for both metal and plastic. (Internal standards) ■ How is it different from regular metallic paint? It has an extremely high brightness. In the case of general metallic colors, the aluminum pigment has a particle feel that makes it immediately recognizable as metallic paint, but with Metal Star, it is possible to create a foil-like appearance that is less discernible in terms of particle feel compared to regular metallics, due to its higher brightness. The aluminum pigment contained in this paint has a cross-sectional thickness of about 1/10 compared to conventional aluminum pigments. When oriented smoothly, it approaches a foil-like state. These are the main differences.

Taiyo Sangyo Co., Ltd. is a paint manufacturing company specializing in high-brightness metallic paints primarily for automotive interior and exterior parts (OEM). Taiyo Sangyo aims to leverage its unique expertise in metallic and luminescent paints to remain a manufacturer that is always one step ahead in this field. In 1962, when most metallic paints were imported and considered specialty paints, we began research and development on metallic paints, successfully developing them after several years. We then started in-house production of metallic paints, which have been our main products for about 50 years up to the present day.
