The HPI-A6 optical fiber high-voltage phase detector has a high input impedance similar to that of a voltage tester, allowing measurements to be taken over insulated wires and terminals. Its usage and display are the same as conventional overhead distribution line phase detectors, indicating same-phase, different-phase, and phase sequence through sound (buzzer) and light (LED).
